EAST BLOOMFIELD HISTORICAL SOCIETY
October 20, 2016 at 6:00
The Annual Dinner will be held at the East Bloomfield Historical Societies Academy Building, as in the past.
To refresh your memory, there is no cost for you to attend the dinner, but we ask each attendee bring a dish to share with other members. Since we are celebrating our 50th Anniversary, we would prefer some “Bloomfield” related dishes brought. For example, a family recipe or a dish from a community cookbook . We will also provide a celebratory cake to share. To ensure we have a variety of dishes, and number attending, please contact the director, Lorraine at 657-7244 (please leave a message if not answered) or email firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, number attending, and dish you plan to share. Lorraine will record both to ensure food variety and adequate seating. The Society will provide place settings.
The date is Thursday, October 20th starting at 6:00 p.m. with a social half-hour. Before the dinner we will have a PowerPoint presentation by the societies president Judi Stewart. This will provide a summary of accomplishments and changes during the year. After the presentation, we will have a banquet style meal, finishing with the cake. Upon the conclusion members are invited to tour exhibit progress on the second floor or the building in general.
This is an ideal chance for members to meet, socialize and share ideas about our Historical Society. Ideas and comments are always welcome.
